Engels 5: Conversation Language & Culture Advanced [C1]

Not only do we exchange views and opinions on a variety of topics, but we do so weekly within the context of British culture. Themes can be related to UK history, art, food, politics, fashion, etc., but also to how to express yourself in a culturally appropriate way. We’re using a wide variety of tools, ranging from podcast segments, to literature and written or recorded opinion pieces. This way, you will feel at ease in any type of conversation or setting.

Throughout, the atmosphere is relaxed and we often have lots of fun. We all agree that the homework is already part of the fun and prepares us for a nice and effective classroom session.         

Your level of English is already good enough to have a fluent conversation, but you are still very open to receiving feedback on your pronunciation and sentence structure and you are keen to add a bit of spice to vocabulary. Join us!

Homework: 2 to 3 hours a week.
