A glass of wine tells a whole story. I want you to read it, and walk into any wine shop knowing what you like and why.
Hi, I'm Lucia. I come from Italy and I've built my life around wine. I took a master's in oenology, worked as a research assistant, and made wine in cellars across New Zealand, France and Italy. At a certain point I decided to change direction: I did a master's in Business Administration and today I work in something completely different. But wine never left me!
What draws me to wine is that it is far more than what's in the glass. A wine is a translator of everything that happened long before you taste it: the land, the season, the people, the effort and the countless decisions made in the vineyard and the cellar. My background is technical, and that's exactly the perspective I want to share. Wine is too often told in an elitist way, and that hides how alive and human it really is.
I teach because I want people to walk away with knowledge they can actually
use. Not just tasting notes for one evening, but the confidence to walk into a
bar or a wine shop and know what you're looking at, what you like and why. By
the end, you should be able to look at a glass of wine and see the whole story
behind it!
